As part of its Earth Month festivities in April, 2009 the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo will host the first annual Green Festival. The month-long fair will showcase companies looking to build awareness of their environmentally responsible practices, services, and products.

At the Green Festival, up to 160,000 zoo visitors will browse booths featuring companies with eco-friendly initiatives. If you would like to align your company with one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, the Bronx Zoo is the place to be this April.

Earth Month Event Highlights

During the Party for the Planet here at our 265-acre park, we will become the destination for family activities that celebrate Earth. Zoo guests will be invited to participate in eco-friendly crafts, green-themed entertainment, storytelling, a recycled animal art exhibition, plus a WCS photography gallery. Best of all, visitors will be able to connect with more than 4,000 animals throughout the zoo, representing our planet’s wild ambassadors.

The month-long celebration culminates with the first annual Run for the Wild, April 25th.
