Birthday Parties
Throw a birthday party full of adventure for your child at the New York Zoos and Aquarium. Each of our parks offers a unique set of age-appropriate, themed parties, which include guided tours led by zoo educators, wildlife games and crafts, and a private room for refreshments.
Parties can take place year-round, rain or shine.
Children can enjoy a festive celebration that includes a guided “safari” tour through the zoo and refreshments at the Zoo School. Choose from five different party themes, geared towards different age groups.
Prospect Park Zoo birthday parties combine fun activities, arts and crafts, and visits to exhibits around the zoo, with your choice of animal themes. Each group has access to our spacious party room, located in the Orientation Building. Live animal guests will visit you there!
Kids ages 3–12 can enjoy a festive celebration featuring arts and crafts activities, up-close encounters with live farm animals, and a chat with a zookeeper. They’ll also explore some of the zoo’s amazing animal exhibits with our expert instructional staff as their guide.
